ABOUT ANDRINA GOODWIN FOUNDATION
The Andrina Goodwin Foundation (‘AGF’) is a nonprofit organization established by the children of Andrina Goodwin, following her death from cancer in 2006. Being moved by the compassionate care and comfort that was provided for their mother by hospice care, the family decided it would be their mission to ensure others had access to that same level of care and support through illness and bereavement.
The family would look to hospice care once again in 2014, when their father, Donald Goodwin, would spend his last day’s two rooms down from where his wife was 7 years earlier at the Hospice House in Auburn, Maine.
Since 2011, The Andrina Goodwin Foundation has participated as ‘Team AGF’ in the annual Hospice House 5K & Remembrance Walk. Each year, the team has grown and raised more money to help those who do not have adequate health insurance or resources get the patient care and family support they deserve.
The Andrina Goodwin Foundation’s mission is to raise money to help those who are terminally ill or facing a life-limiting illness receive compassionate end-of-life care.
